| Anti-Aging Alpha-Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) occur naturally in foods and include citric acid (from citrus fruits), Malic acid (apples), Tartaric acid (grapes), lactic acid (milk), and glycolic acid (sugarcane). When applied to the skin, fruit acids supplement the skin's natural exfoliation process by sloughing away dead skin cells, revealing the newer, smoother cells underneath. This process improves circulation and stimulates new cell growth, resulting in a fresher, healthier complexion and reduced pore size. Contains a 5% AHA level.
Sorbet is also a great anti-blemish moiturizer. It's light, non-oily, and AHA's are known to assist in blemish control.
Directions for use: Apply as a moisturizer day or night. Best anti-aging results occur after cleansing, toning, and applying serum. Let serum penetrate into skin (approx. 2-3 minutes) then apply Sorbet.
Always use sunscreen and limit sun exposure for one week afterwards when using any Alpha Hydroxy treatments as they increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn.
